Primrose oil contains vitamin A, which causes the skin to have a healthy appearance, increases the epidermis, making the skin thicken, and has antioxidant properties which protect your cells against the effects of free radicals. Vitamin E inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species, and also has the ability to build into lipid structures, protecting against photoaging of the skin [4].
